Formally trained at the Roberts’ School of Cosmetology and the Gwynnis Mosby Makeup Academy, Shawon currently spearheads her brand, at the illustrious SP HairCare in Buckhead Atlanta, GA. As the face and founder of SP HairCare, Shawon promises to deliver elegance, refinement, and innovation with the genuine belief that “What you wear begins with your hair!”
Shawon, has expertise working with all phases, textures, lengths, and densities of natural, color-treated and chemically-altered hair; working diligently to ensure that she keeps up with the latest techniques and trends. When it comes to her clients, Shawon goes above and beyond and is no stranger to days-long celebrity photo shoots, weddings, music video sets, and advertisements for exclusive hair product companies. In fact, she has clients that have traveled worldwide, as far as the United Kingdom. Shawon has some of the most prestigious and upper-echelon clientele. Moreover, Shawon has gracefully styled tresses for celebrities in attendance at the Emmys and Grammys and has been featured in world-renowned specialty publications, including Essence Magazine and Instyle magazine.

We love children, however due to insurance restrictions and limited seating, NO children are allowed unless they are being serviced.
When you make an appointment, it is confirmed by e-mail or text message. However, it is your responsibility to keep your appointment. Missed appointments will result in a $120.00 no show fee, which will be added to your next visit. On your next visit to the salon you will be reminded and asked to pay the fee before your hair services are started. A 24 hour cancelation notice is required. If you need to cancel your appointment on the day of service, a 5 hour cancelation notice is required.
